The Dream Job: Working For Yourself

THE DREAM JOB:  WORKING FOR YOURSELF
In short, it did not happen over night, nor was their success something that happened quickly. We
envision our future home to be tremendous:worth a lot of money and the envy of our friends and neighbors. It is no wonder
that with the perfect lifestyle, all of us want the perfect job.

WHAT WE HATE ABOUT WORKING FOR OTHERS
We enjoy making money
and bringing home our own paychecks, and working at a successful career. There are so many aspects of working for someone
else that drives every hard worker to dream of having their own business.

FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU HATE ABOUT EMPLOYMENT WITH
OTHERS
These questions should consist of the following:"What specifically did I hate about my job?" "Did I hate the hours I
was working?" "Did I feel unappreciated?" "Did I disapprove of the overall management of the organization?" These questions
may work for you when you evaluate your job and what you hated about it. If you find that you are working for a job or a
company you hate, you need to stop focusing on hating your job and start focusing on why you hate your job or the company
you work for. While you are spending a great deal of time figuring out what you hated about your job, you should also spend
an equal amount of time figuring out what you loved about your job. Another important question you should be addressing is
how you felt about your job while you were in the work place environment. Some of these questions could include, "Is it the
manner in which I am spoken to?" "Do I feel that I am not given enough credit?" Perhaps it isn't personal at all and it has
everything to do with the management of the company.

WRITING YOUR BUSINESS PLAN
Through figuring out these important
aspects, you will learn all of the valuable components of what to include or not to include in the business you create to. Some will find a quiet room in their home while others will find a coffee shop to be a place where they
can gather their thoughts. The next step in creating the business that will support you is to take the brainstorming
of ideas, (what you hated about your previous job, career or company), and start elaborating on it.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?
FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU WANT TO DO FOR PROFIT.
Incorporate all of the things you need to do to be able to do this as a business
and figure out how you plan to market your final product. Continue sketching out your business model until you start to see
a solid picture of what your business may look like. " That way you can pinpoint an aspect of your business that you can turn
into a marketable asset.

LOOK AT SIMILAR BUSINESSES GET IDEAS
Before you officially open your business, you need to take a
look at the competition in the industry of your choice. Look at what their products are and how they market it. Once you
have figured out the method for which you will research another business, analyze your competition. Visiting the owners of
businesses has proven to be quite helpful to many people who are looking to turn a hobby into a profitable business.
Sometimes, the internet will not prove to be helpful. You may find that you simply cannot conduct your research through the
internet, as in the farm example, because you would not be able to obtain the information you need for creating your own
business.

RINSE AND REPEAT
Further, research of your product's competition will help your company grow by taking their ideas
into consideration. If you have a business model that works and you do not see much for improvement, (or perhaps, you don't
need to improve because your sales are doing so well), then this is likely the best thing for you to do in order for your
company to grow.

FINALIZE YOUR BUSINESS PLAN. WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN NEXT: LEGALLY, EDUCATION, AND FINANCIALLY.
While you are
looking at the legal and educational aspects of your business, you should also be thinking about and deciding what type of
equipment you will need for your business. You should spend time researching the different types of equipment and costs and
estimate how much money you will need to purchase or lease these items.

EDUCATE YOURSELF IN SALES. VERY IMPORTANT
Usually,
people are willing to do this and if you know someone willing to have an observer, you should go and watch them carefully.
In addition to having a job as a salesman, you can also ask a person that is a salesman if you can watch them in the act.
Other people prefer to learn skills from reading books. This is simply a crucial part in turning your ideas into a profitable business.

CREATE. DESIGN. WHAT WORKS WITH YOUR BUSINESS MODEL?
By doing this, you will keep your customers happy
and will continue to help your business grow and prosper as you rise in a new industry. If you find that your business is
profitable in your "niche", as we had discussed earlier, you can start to incorporate other avenues of  your business.
